Many people have been asking, “How did the term PunkerDoodle® come about, and what does the word PunkerDoodle® even mean?”

The word PunkerDoodle® started in one of those challenging parenting moments when nothing else seemed to work. In 1996, founder Laura’s child was upset – not even a car ride helped. A word came to her in that moment – something with energy and rhythm to it. She repeated it over and over, and it brought him instant comfort: “PunkerDoodle.”

What started as one moment of soothing comfort became the foundation years later for something much bigger.

Over time, the PunkerDoodle® brand and philosophy were established along with its root foundation – I Can Attitude™.
